Items can be brought to the saleroom where a valuer will always be on hand to give advice. Alternatively we can arrange to visit you. There are no charges for either of these initial consultations..

Reserve prices can be agreed on items placed for sale. Lawrences reserve the right to sell within 10% of any reserve price.

Commission charges

Once an item has been consigned and sold, commission is deducted from the hammer price as follows:

Lots sold for £100 or over - 17%
Lots sold under £100 - 22%

(Please note that we have a minimum commission charge of £30 on an account. This is calculated on the total of all items entered not on each separate item and will automatically be deducted should the commission structure detailed not meet the required £30)

Each lot entered for auction will be subject to a £5 administration fee.

These charges are inclusive of insurance and subject to VAT

Any transport of goods to the auction rooms arranged by us is charged at cost.
