Bidding through this website
You can also place commission bids directly through this website, avoiding the additional commission charge, however if you choose to bid live via this website a 3% additional charge will be made (subject to vat)
Commission Bidding
If you are unable to attend the sale you can leave
a commission bid. This will be executed on your behalf by the auctioneer who will purchase the lot as cheaply as possible bearing in mind any reserve price and other bids.
Telephone Bidding
It is usually possible to bid on the telephone by prior
arrangement with the office, as a general rule we
need to estimate that the item will make in excess of
£300.
PLEASE NOTE - by booking a telephone line on an item you are agreeing to place a bid of at least the low estimate on an item.
Buyer's Premium
A buyer's premium of 22% (subject to vat) is payable on each lot purchased.
VAT
Lots marked with an asterisk (*) are subject to VAT
on the hammer price.
Payment and clearance
Payment is due within seven days of the auction
in pounds sterling.
Goods must be cleared within one week after the auction date
